CRED Outreach Opportunities

Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development (CRED) was created to help educate the general public about the energy, economic and environmental benefits of safe and responsible oil and natural gas development.  Our message is simple and clear: get the facts on fracking first before you make a decision.

Even though the oil and natural gas industry has utilized fracking safely for over 60 years, most Coloradans admit to not knowing or understanding what it involves.  We’re here to change that.

The CRED outreach team includes members of the community who understand that responsible energy development in Colorado is critical.

August 23 - September 3: Colorado State Fair

CRED is hosting a booth at the Colorado State Fair on  August 23 - September 3, 2018.

The booth will feature information about the oil and gas industry, with a focus on educating the public on the process of hydraulic fracturing. With that said, we need people who will be able to speak intelligently and at a layman level to answer questions that come up. Volunteering at this event provides a great opportunity to engage with the community on this important energy issue!

    About the event:

The Colorado State Fair enjoys the distinction of being the largest single event in Colorado with over 480,204 fair goers in attendance in 2017.
