Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development (CRED) is hosting a booth at the Loveland Corn Roast Festival on August 22nd - 23rd, 2014.
The booth will feature information about the oil and gas industry, with a focus on educating the public on the process of hydraulic fracturing. With that said, we need people who will be able to speak intelligently and at a layman level to answer questions that come up. Volunteering at this event provides a great opportunity to engage with the community on this important energy issue!
It is Loveland’s leading family event and has developed a reputation as a quality premiere event. The Northern Colorado Business Report (NCBR) lists it as 7th out of the top 25 events in Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming. It was also voted as the Best Local event by the 2011 Loveland Reporter Herald Reader’s Choice Awards. The estimated 2011 Festival attendance exceeded 18,000 visitors.
