Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development (CRED) is hosting a booth at the Lake Pueblo Polar Plunge in Pueblo, CO on February 25th, 2017.
The booth will feature information about the oil and gas industry, with a focus on educating the public on the process of hydraulic fracturing. With that said, we need people who will be able to speak intelligently and at a layman level to answer questions that come up. Volunteering at this event provides a great opportunity to engage with the community on this important energy issue!
*Note: You will be sent additional information regarding the event 48 hours prior to your shift.

FREEZIN’ FOR A REASON…it’s the 2017 Polar Plunge presented by Westerra Credit Union. Show your support for over 20,000 Special Olympics athletes in Colorado by plunging into icy waters and raising money for Special Olympics. Here’s how it works: Start a team or join a team (the more the merrier!) and ask your family and friends to pledge money towards your plunge. There are great incentives for reaching certain fundraising levels, and all proceeds benefit our amazing and courageous Special Olympics athletes. For example, by raising $250, you are funding training and competition for one athlete in his or her sport for the entire season! We encourage everyone in the community to get involved – schools, fraternities, sororities, corporations, law enforcement agencies, groups of friends and families... everyone can contribute something to make the event special. Get started now by clicking Polar Plunge Registration on the left hand column. After you register, set up your fundraising page and start collecting pledges and earning great incentives! Registration closes on Feb 24th at 2pm. You can still register day of the event. We'll see you at the Polar Plunge! *The Lake Pueblo Plunge is hosted by the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Special Olympics Colorado.
