CRED Outreach Opportunities

Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development (CRED) was created to help educate the general public about the energy, economic and environmental benefits of safe and responsible oil and natural gas development.  Our message is simple and clear: get the facts on fracking first before you make a decision.

Even though the oil and natural gas industry has utilized fracking safely for over 60 years, most Coloradans admit to not knowing or understanding what it involves.  We’re here to change that.

The CRED outreach team includes members of the community who understand that responsible energy development in Colorado is critical.

August 10-12: Jefferson County Fair and Festival

CRED is hosting a booth at the Jefferson County Fair and Festival on August 10th - 12th.

The booth will feature information about the oil and gas industry, with a focus on educating the public on the process of hydraulic fracturing. With that said, we need people who will be able to speak intelligently and at a layman level to answer questions that come up. Volunteering at this event provides a great opportunity to engage with the community on this important energy issue!

    About the event:

Lasting for 3 days, it’s Jeffco’s biggest celebration of the summer happening August 10 – 12, 2018. Mark your calendars now to join the celebration this summer at the third annual Jeffco Fair & Festival!

*Note: You will be sent additional information regarding the event and where to meet 48-72 hours prior to your shift.
